Job Summary:

Supermicro is a global leader in server and IT hardware. We are currently looking for an Account Sales to join the team based in London, UK and support the sales operation throughout EMEA. You will be responsible for maintaining the quality, efficiency, and integrity of Supermicro's sales process through various means by working with cross functional teams including Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and Programs. Candidates should have an understanding of computer hardware and be keen to work in a fast-paced sales environment. Attention to detail is a must and a can-do attitude is essential. Applicants should be willing and able to travel internationally for either training, events or other business activities. The role is primarily office based.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

•    Develop and execute strategic plans to expand customer base and deliver incremental revenue
•    Understand and communicate Supermicro’s value proposition via presentations to strategic partners & customers.
•    Maintain high-level relationships within current accounts & create and maintain new relationships in new strategic accounts 
•    Work with multiple teams within the organization to execute on high level tenders / quotations & deployments 
•    Working with customers and internal admins to submit accurate internal forecasts
•    Following up with internal departments and individuals to ensure order lead times are met
•    Be able to deal with complex enquiries and sales leads promptly
•    Helping to achieve sales targets and growth
•    Understanding, articulating, and selling product and service technical proposals.
•    Providing Strategic Reviews (Internal and External)


•    Bachelor’s degree in IT related field or Business Administration preferred
•    Candidate should have ~10+ years experience in a sales
•    Attention to details and a consistently high quality of work is critical
•    Have a can-do attitude and be self-motivated with the ability to resolve problems and create solutions
•    Initiative and skills in developing, growing and converting business leads and opportunities
•    Strong team player
•    Prior experience selling technology into corporate accounts
•    Excellent time management skills
•    Extremely proactive, highly organized, with proven ability to manage multiple tasks
•    Professionalism combined with a passion for creativity
•    Excellent communication skills in English is mandatory
•    Additional languages highly desirable: French, German, Spanish, Italian, Arabic
