Job Summary:

Business Intelligence Manager will perform assessments and risk analysis to identify problems with current company material control processes. It also includes interacting with the personnel involved in various functions like material planning, warehousing, inventory control, master scheduling, etc. The primary goal is to increase efficiency, analyze data and create reports that outline your findings, and present those findings to upper management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

-To review the current inventory positions for the raw materials, finished goods and to provide weekly summary reports/charts to upper management.

-Gather relevant data from company resources and analyze data to determine problem areas in company material processes.

-Ensure the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and inventory accuracy at all times and manage and control inventory levels and movements.

-Ensure that any Material Requirements Planning system (MRP) or IT system in place is  effective and that data is accurate and up to date and resolve any issues as required.

-Assess volume requirements against planning assumptions and manage inventory risk and ensure that contingency plans are in place.

-Interact with all levels of the organization in technical, financial, and business solution delivery discussions that include, but not limited to scheduling, resource management, and progress management.

-Manage day-to-day operations of business intelligence analytics and reporting with tasks including but not limited to updating existing processes and developing new processes to improve quantitation decision making.

- Manage team members, ensuring proper execution of functions within data analytics reporting, and directing the design and fulfillment of analytical functions in partnership with project management and business decision makers.

Qualifications:

College’s degree in business, statistics, or another related field.

8+ years of experience in analytics with some supervisory duties.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and industry-related databases and web applications.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
