Job Summary:

A brilliant opportunity exists for an outstanding individual capable of fitting into this very rewarding Component Product Manager role. This is a fast moving, emerging business, and successful candidates will be able to move and adapt quickly to changing needs, manage multiple initiatives, engage at all executive levels both inside Supermicro and with partners, and have a proven record of developing products as well as business model from the ground up. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Issue purchase orders and ensure on-time delivery
  • Review sales forecast and keep optimal inventory level to minimize carrying costs
  • Communicate with Program Managers/Sales to support system build plan
  • Analyze global demand and provide forecast to suppliers
  • Manage new product release and product obsolesces
  • Provide product training to new sales for assigned products
  • Maintain relationships and obtain best terms with suppliers
  • Other relevant duties assigned by supervisor/manager

Qualifications:

  • BS in Business major background preferred
  • 5+ years relevant work experience in supply chain management
  • Experience in handling high value commodity and high volume transactions
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Skilled in coordinating and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Able to function in a very fast paced environment and can adapt to changes quickly • Extremely detail-oriented and self-driven
