Job Summary:

This position will manage the performance of all IT equipment such as computers, network devices, servers, printers, and phones. The IT Engineer is the primary technical contact for our employees and insures that service delivery aligns with Supermicro's standards. This individual will have an in-depth knowledge of the IT environment, and business requirements, with the desired goal of reducing the amount of reactive support required. Customer satisfaction and fast resolution time are the primary objectives of the IT Engineer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The IT Engineer will be responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining the Windows/Linux servers and workstations
  • They are responsible for maintaining the network environment as well as the health of servers
  • Provide solutions by complying with the security standards of the company
  • They support the requests of the users and solve any problems related with the Windows/Linux servers and workstations
  • Setting up and configuring new systems, installing and maintaining the application software and coordinating the networking connectivity
  • Remain updated with the current knowledge in Windows system and are responsible for evaluating the hardware and software technologies
  • Designing, implementing, securing and maintaining the computer systems for test, development and production environment
  • Identify and analyze the issues that hamper the performance of the system, and to work in close coordination with the product development team and recommend the solutions for the issues
  • Supporting tasks that are included, but not limited to code deployment/reviewing, managing source control systems, virtual servers, scripting, etc.
  • Design scripts for application deployments as well as system monitoring
  • Involved in developing and overseeing the backup, replication, clustering and fail over strategies
  • Maintain proper documentation of all the procedures, configurations, programs, etc.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in managing multiple sites of Microsoft AD Domain controllers and OU management
  • Familiarity with Microsoft power shell commands
  • Familiarity with GPO config, software/patch deployment
  • Familiarity of virtualization, especially on Hyper-V
  • Knowledge with Microsoft LAPS, secure privilege access model
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP
  • MCSE certificated is a plus
  • Experience with EPM or PAM solution is a plus
  • Experience with Linux OS is a plus
  • Experience with cloud services (Microsoft Azure, AWS) is a plus
  • Experience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as Shell Script, or Python is a plus
