Job Summary:

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking a Network Product Manager. This position will work on Supermicro Networking products that will be deployed by the data centers for connectivity. The ideal candidate is expected to be self-driven, work independently as well with remote teams, establish goals and creates market for network solutions that helps build next generation data centers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promote Supermicro network solutions suited to large datacenter, HPC and enterprise environments
• Develop and execute business plans for networking products
• Work with key customers to promote our products
• Handle technical questions from customers on presale and post-sale activities
• Work on the technical issues reported by customers on the new/deployed product
• Work with internal team on issue reproduction, debugging, fixing and closing the issue
• Take ownership and work with across teams to resolve the issue in a timely manner


• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of networking products promotion or deployment experience is preferred
• Hands on experience on provisioning of networking devices – switches and routers is required
• Experience in understanding the layer 2 and layer 3 networking protocols including – Spanning Tree, LACP, MLAG, VLAN, VRRP, TCP/IP, and BGP
• Strong Verbal and written Communication skills 
• Ability to work in a cross-functional environment and problem solving skills
• Previous experiences as a development engineer/PM in a networking products company is a plus
• Previous experience as a datacenter network engineer is a plus
• Some travel required (15%)
