Job Summary:

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking Program Managers for support our extended business growth. The Program Manager in the SPRO team is responsible for the success of company projects. Program manager in the SPRO team will act as a key role in the company business achievement and growth, which includes the coordination with cross-functional teams, namely Sales teams, Product Management teams, Procurement teams, Production Management teams, and etc. to ensure the customer demand fulfillment on time and customer's satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Program managers in the SPRO-PGM team is responsible for plan, coordinate and control the progress of company projects.
  • Drive solutions for abnormality to ensure deliverables with defined time frame.
  • Responsible for project business data analysis, strategy fine tuning and push for action taken and result follow-ups.
  • Responsible for business development and support. Coordinate material readiness and availability with Procurement teams. 
  • Coordinate for customer's purchase demand delivery plans with Production Management teams and PM teams and communicate delivery with Sales teams and customers. Track On-Time Delivery performance.
  • Overall review Global Material status (USA, Netherlands and Taiwan) to fulfill the customer orders.
  • Monitor the quality, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or other related fields. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in servers, computer design, and/or manufacturing industry
  • Work efficiently with cross-functional teams, provide clean goals and guidance to team members, drive the team for targets.
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
  • Proven track record of managing projects and delivering on time
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, develop and implement new processes
  • Experience interfacing with product management, technical support
  • Understand MRP logics, possess problem solving ability

• Able to sit for long periods of time.

• Able to input data into a computer and work with a computer screen for long periods of time.

• Occasional bending and standing.

• Standing, walking, sitting, talking/listening, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms.

• Lift, carry, push and pull up to 15 pounds.
