Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for a stellar Project Manager in the product management team to take ownership and drive the product schedules from product kick-off to mass production.  In this role, you will be collaborating closely with product management team, and monitor the schedule and collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure the product meets the aggressive go-to-market timing, improve cost-efficiency, reduce aging inventory, and setting up BOM structure. Additionally, you will lead in cross-functional meetings to resolve complex technical issues, ensuring product excellence and control go-to-market schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organize and lead meetings – resolve both technical and operational issues in-timely.

• Communication – build trusting relationship with cross-functional and product management teams to drive business success.

• Work with Product Managers to co-develop the go-to-market strategies, manage and monitor the schedule throughout the product development process.

• Partner with purchasing teams to ensure material readiness for prototypes and mass production.

• Collaborate with cross-functional team to improve product and cost efficiency.


• Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline, or with equivalent experiences preferred

• 5 years of experience in high tech industry involved in product/project management

• Familiar with server architecture and key component is preferred

• Experience working in fast-paced and team environment, ability to adapt to changes quickly

• Solid interpersonal and communication skills, able to lead and complete project under pressure and meeting aggressive deadline

• Able to input data into a computer and work with a computer screen for long periods of time.

• Lift, carry, push and pull up to 15 pounds.
