Job Summary:

As a global leader for networking solution innovation, Super Micro's mission is to develop and provide the market with end-to end computing solution and high-performance networking products. The Rack/ PDU Production Manager will be responsible for all aspects of activities introducing rack system solutions into various Super Micro’s servers and storage systems. He/she will provide product support and expertise in electrical, mechanical, thermal, and troubleshoot issues as needed. The Rack/PDU product manager must also be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is ready to work beyond boundaries and capable to do what it takes to meet our team goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

•  Participate in cross-functional operations teams, including Engineering, Commodity Management, Supply Chain, and Quality teams

•  Partner closely with design engineering and operation's technical teams to assess and reduce all program risks

•  Plan and drive execution from engineering sample builds through production ramp up

• Review vendor product specification and perform product qualification plan, then enter data accurately from a variety of sources into the company’s database systems

• Support Sales, Engineering, and Procurement on Rack/PDU issues

• Manage development with System team need for Rack/PDU solutions

• Demonstrate leadership to manage a small team of product managers if needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant working experiences a plus

• Familiar with Rack/PDU solutions for Server/Storage products is a plus

• Program/Project Management experience is a plus

• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships with internal and external team members

• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different function groups

• Understand Rack/PDU and power safety regulation and RoHS specification for worldwide customers

Salary Range

$70,000 - $148,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
