Job Summary:

Supermicro Computer, Inc. is looking for a DevOps Engineer in our headquarters located in San Jose, CA. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining mission-critical information extraction, analysis, and management systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate applications requested by clients to prevent potential security issue
  • Look for applications that will benefit and improve company's performance. You will be consulting with clients
  • Write codes and scripts for applications, as well as install, maintain, and test applications
  • Provide clients with technical supports
  • Optimize applications by integrating new technologies and performing upgrades
  • Demonstrate new applications and features to users
  • Perform diagnostic tests and debug procedures, as well as improve code and re-designing tasks
  • Document development processes, procedures, and application version histories
  • Keeping up with advancements in application engineering and new technologies


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT engineering
  • Advanced proficiency in programming languages, such as Php, Python, Java, SQL, .NET, and C
  • Extensive experience in deploying, optimizing, and maintaining software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Great organizational and time management skills
  • Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, GitLab
  • Knowledge with Windows and Linux operating system environments
  • Experience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as PowerShell, Shell Script, or Python
  • Experience with cloud services (Microsoft Azure, Hyper-V, AWS) a plus
