Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for an efficient Order Entry Specialist to assist Central Order Team in managing customer accounts and processing orders. The Order Entry Specialist position will also be a liaison across different functions, provide statistic report to management, and other duties. If you are a good team player, detail oriented, have the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize and are looking for a great opportunity, Supermicro wants you on our team! 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Input customer and account data from Central PO System within time limits.
• Verify customer and order information for correctness, checking it against previously obtained information as necessary.
• Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account status and relevant problems.
• Keep the sales team informed of orders in process, back orders, hold orders, etc.
• Provide data and guides to help the sales team.
• Keep information confidential, comply with data integrity and security policies.
• Be back-up for team members.
• Performs other administrative/clerical office duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• College Degree or equivalent training or experience
• 1-2 years of experience preferred, fresh graduate welcome
• Experience in data entry, scheduling production and tracking orders
• Possesses strong professional communication skills including: phone, written, verbal, presentation  
• Possesses a high degree of confidence and positive attitude.
• Strong prioritizing and multi-tasking skills to work within tight deadlines
• Fast typing speed and accuracy, good attention to details
• Possesses excellent interpersonal skills, must be a good team-player

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

• Able to sit for long periods of time.

• Able to input data into a computer and work with a computer screen for long periods of time.

• Occasional bending and standing.

• Standing, walking, sitting, talking/listening, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms.

• Lift, carry, push and pull up to 15 pounds.

• Primarily works indoors in an office setting with controlled climate conditions
