Supermicro is seeking a talented Senior Software Test Engineer specialized in software security with great attention to detail and strong problem solving ability to join our software team. You will be responsible for examining all aspects of the products/applications, performing tests, and implementing test automation. If you are forward thinking engineer that can bring software quality improvement ideas and new strategies to lead the company forward, we would love to talk to you.
The Essential Duties include but not limited to following areas:
- Evaluate, assess software, application and product security vulnerabilities and design flaws.
- Evaluate and improve software and application security testing processes
- Implement software and application security testing guideline and requirements
- Perform software/system vulnerability, security scanning, penetration testing, hacking
- Software/system security and risk assessment
- Research latest security test practices
- Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering or related field
- At least 4 years of product security experience
- Security experience in client server applications
- Software/system security testing experience
- Deep understanding of cryptography, authentication, authorization, cyber security
- Knowledge of industry standards, security practices
- Strong communication skills
- Security professional certifications a plus (such as CEH, CISSP, CSSLP, GPEN, GWAPT, OCSP)
