Job Summary:

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join the technology enablement team located in San Jose, CA. TPM acts as overall customer project owner, interfaces with key customers and technology partners and is held responsible for overall project execution success. TPM will work closely with product managers, engineering, production, purchasing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure overall technical design and production quality meet customer requirements. This role is very critical because successful execution and customer satisfaction leads to new opportunities. We welcome candidates with can-do attitude and strong track record of success to apply.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead a cross-functional team to exceed customer's requirements for production quality and build plan/schedule
  • Ability to convert customer's requirements into actionable and measurable activities to drive improvements on manufacturing processes and quality standards
  • Strong technical background and experience working in a server and storage ODM or OEM environment
  • Experience with servers, storage and networking products for data center infrastructure
  • Project management / electrical engineering background a strong plus
  • Supreme leadership skills across broad and diverse functional teams
  • Some travel required
  • Bachelors' or Masters' degree in electrical or computer engineering or related engineering background preferred
  • 2+ years in an IT or semiconductor industry with experience in at least one of the following roles:  program/project management, FAE, or production/manufacturing
  • Background and experience with PCBA production
  • Strong technical communication and leadership skills to lead cross-functional teams

• Able to input data into a computer and work with a computer screen for long periods of time.

• Occasional bending and standing.

• Lift, carry, push and pull up to 15 pounds.
