Job Summary:

With an engineering heritage spanning over 27 years and a turnover of multi-billions globally, Supermicro BV is now seeking a motivated individual to strengthen our sales team with the addition of a first-class Senior Business Development Manager. You have opportunity to learn and earn at the highest level as possible. As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will assist in all aspect of the process by prospecting new customers, cultivating relationship, setting face-to-face meetings or through video conference, obtain critical information about new customer's opportunity and managing leads on a daily basis from various sources, and provide follow up activities. The successful individual will be joining a global business who focus on creating long-term value for customers and employees through a passionate dedication to excellence and a disciplined management process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Make strategic development and tactical execution of new business generation
•    Contact potential customers to establish rapport and arrange meetings
•    Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
•    Find and develop new markets and improving sales.
•    Plan, oversee and deliver focused sales and new marketing campaigns initiatives designed to drive aggressive revenue growth
•    Require regular customer visits on a regional basis to increase value while attracting new ones
•    Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.
•    Collaborate with product managers and assist sales in developing quotes and proposals for customers
•    Develop goals for yourself, and possibly the business development team growth and ensure they are met
•    Attend trainings and also provide product/solution training to customers
•    Strong understanding of company products or services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive

 

Qualifications:

•    A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, EE or related fields
•    A strong strategic thinker with exceptional business development and account management skills
•    Have ability to manage complex projects and multi-tasks
•    Outstanding at getting in front of corporate customers, gaining buy in and then selling across all relevant departments
•    Able to develop new business opportunities, coupled with an eye for upselling/cross selling
•    You will be an excellent communicator and IT fluency, be able to connect and sell to a wide variety of functional decision makers.
•    A proven track record of business to business sales experience of medium to long cycle selling would be advantageous
•    Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and able to handle uncertainty.
•    Experience of computer systems, like desktop PC, gaming PC, Workstation, and Server... would be hugely advantageous. 
•    Language: English, Mandarin Chinese (Preferable), and Other European Language.
