Job Summary:

 Failure analysis engineer performs repair of defective boards of Supermicro products, identifies failure root cause of defective boards for production line yield rate improvement. Besides, also join SMT/PCBA assembly line to early dig out production issue, to reduce failure rate and defective boards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• 1. Execute production defective PCBA boards repair.
  2. NPI build defective boards debugging, analysis and repair.
  3. Work with product engineering team to figure out production issue (Including SMT and PCBA assembly).
  4. Perform failure analysis of defective boards and co-work with RD for critical NG symptom.
  5. Come out failure analysis report, repairing document.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• •Education and/or Experience: BSEE, MSEE with over 3~5 years of working experience on PCBA repair, PC/Server assembly and failure analysis
  •Language Skills: English, Mandarin
  •Good knowledge of computer/server operation and electronic components/devices
  •Good knowledge of basic electronics circuit fundamentals
  •Good soldering and desoldering skill
  •Good knowledge of computer/server testing and inspection
  •Good operation software skills in Windows and Linux
  •Demonstrated skill in the electronic circuit analysis and troubleshooting.
  •Capable on teamwork and self-motivated hard work with a positive attitude
  •Need to travel regularly
