Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for an experienced Lab Manager to oversee the daily operation in our Testing Lab. The individual will lead a team in the testing lab to conduct various troubleshoot and debug to eliminate quality issues, develop testing tools and process to improve the overall efficiency. He/she will also be monitoring the day to day workload of the employees and assign tasks adequately to optimize the skillsets of the team members. The ideal candidate must have solid experiences in hardware testing environment with the ability to communicate effectively and provide strong leadership to lead a team in lab environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Lead the validation team to make sure the quality of validation process

2. Control the validation resource and schedule to fulfill the requirement

3. Issue analyze and discussion with Team and R&D.

4. Review the test case and improve the test template

5. Establish and improve procedures and processes by addressing issues and risks during the validation

6.Work closely with team members to provide effective solutions to support business and quality objectives

7. Work closely with Product Management team and make sure product specification and quality

8. Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning members following up on validation results

Qualifications:

•

1.B.S. in electrical/computer or related engineering field is preferred

2.Minimum 3 years of experience in team management. Minimum 5 years of experience in servers/computer industry is preferred

3.Background and working experience in a server ODM or OEM environment is a plus

4.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross- functional teams

5.Strong problem-solving, training, team building, and mentoring abilities
