Job Summary:

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Storage Product Manager to be responsible for managing multiple projects (HW and SW) from before inception to postmortem. The Storage PM needs to be assertive and work well with cross-functional engineering teams to develop and test the in-house storage products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a storage product manager, you will oversee several storage hardware and software projects, from initial stages to post-mortem analysis. Your role requires assertiveness and effective collaboration with diverse teams. Meeting schedules and sticking to time-to-market goals are essential. Additionally, you should be comfortable presenting to audiences of hundreds of people and thrive under pressure. Your main objective is to provide support for TS, Sales, System PM, and third-party products.

• Need to understand and have a detailed knowledge of storage hardware and software technologies and life cycle. 

• Need to provide solutions to TS/FAE/Sales on all products (SAS/SATA and NVMe).

• Ability to work with all related teams productively. 

• Schedule control is a must. 

• Must provide training to all teams (Sales, Tech support, etc.).

• Work with Vendors, Sales, Purchasers, and CM for your products. 

• Handle multiple products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 8 years PM In-depth knowledge of Storage HW and SW. Prefer design experience.

• In-depth knowledge of Storage technologies such as SCSI, SATA, SAS, NVMe, RAID, Expander, NAS, SAN, iSCSI, Hadoop, I2C, GPIO, BMC, IPMI, etc.

• Fluent in Chinese and English.
