Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with R&D to optimize manufacturing processes and streamline NPI workflows at CM sites.
- Resource Management: Balance and optimize the workload of Production Engineers across all CMs to ensure operational efficiency.
- Test Coverage Assurance: Collaborate with the Test Engineering (TE) team to ensure 100% comprehensive testing coverage for new product launches.
- Packaging Solutions: Utilize product specification databases to design and develop standardized packaging solutions efficiently.
- Modular Process Design: Implement modular production processes (DFM) to enhance inspection efficiency and simplify product maintenance.
- Early Engagement: Engage with R&D, Software, and TE teams during the early Design-In phase to ensure full testing readiness before mass production.
- Test Package Management: Manage the release of testing packages to CMs and proactively resolve any technical issues.
- Issue Resolution: Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering (ME) to troubleshoot and resolve CM-related production bottlenecks.
- DFM Rule Configuration: Expertly utilize CAM350, CAMPro550, and Valor NPI to define and implement robust DFM check rules.
Qualifications:
1. Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Science, or Information Engineering.
2. Language Proficiency
- Full professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
3. Technical Tooling Skills
- Layout Inspection: Proficient in using Allegro for PCB layout review and verification.
- DFx Analysis: Extensive experience with CAM350 and CAMPro for Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) analysis.
- DFT Knowledge: Familiar with Design for Testability (DFT) methodologies and tools.
- Hardware Troubleshooting: Hands-on experience with diagnostic instruments, including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers, for defect analysis and root-cause troubleshooting.
4. Software and Scripting Skills
- Operating Systems: Proficient in Windows and Linux environments.
- Automation/Scripting: Capable of writing and modifying Unix shell scripts and batch files to streamline testing or production workflows.
