Job Summary:

High-performance product team in Supermicro is seeking talented Project Manager who can lead the technical collateral development of in-house embedded system products. This individual will have the opportunity to define and implement latest data center and server technologies, and to create proof of concepts and technical feature paper presentations to differentiate Supermicro product through online and at various industry events. This individual will also be the go-to person for product managers and system engineers to be the subject of matter expert in application benchmarks specifically in network, database, and virtualization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities 

1. Act as a single validation contact point to assigned validation project
2. Collect and review requirements to ensure product eligibility for system compatibility testing
3. Responsible for cross-team communication and status monitoring of project(s)
4. Coordinate resources and personnel to achieve project goals
5. Work with related teams to maintain system qualified component list (QCL) during product development stag
6. Work with internal teams for continuous process and tool enhancement
7. Continually develop knowledge base on current and new products and technology

Qualifications:

1. B.S. in computer or management related engineering field is preferred
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in project management
3. Minimum 2 years of experience in servers/computer industry is preferred
4. Background and working experience in a server ODM or OEM environment is a plus
5. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities

• Experiences in technical writing and good communication skills

Salary Range

$72,000 - $150,000
