Job Summary:

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for both pre and post technical sales activities in new and existing opportunities. Potential Candidate will be an individual contributor working closely with Engineering, Sales and Extended teams to ensure overall technical design proposal meets customer requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Define solutions with internal teams and translate them into BOMs, elevation maps, and wiring/block diagrams.
• Develop technical proposals based on customer SOW, RFI, RFP, or RFQ.
• Support Risk Buy Process for critical component procurement.
• Secure FAI approval and ensure a smooth transition to Production with PRN.
• Track SKU changes using BOM revision control and ECO.
• Finalize Production SOPs, NIR, NPR, and PRN with cross-functional teams.
• Address shortages and source components with PGM & Purchasing.
• Oversee RMA processes, improve quality, and optimize inventory usage.
• Resolve rBurn test faults, ensure FAI compliance, and address RCA/SCAR requests.
• Validate feasibility, conduct performance testing, and research industry trends.
• Present Rack-Scale solutions and submit weekly project status reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering, Management, or related fields.
• Technical knowledge of server rack hardware, software, and networking.
• Proven experience in project management with expertise in methodologies & tools.
• Strong communication skills; ability to collaborate across disciplines & cultures.
• Problem-solving & decision-making abilities to ensure quick customer response.
• PMP and PRINCE2 certifications are a plus.
