Job Summary:

Supermicro Computer Inc. is currently seeking a QA Engineer to join the Racks Solutions team, who can assist in product development, testing and product debugging. This individual will be required to work cross-department and assist R&D Engineers and product managers as needed in product development tasks by providing Open Box Testing for production, warehouse, rack integration and server sample tests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Job included but not limited to:

• Perform Open Box Testing for production systems, warehouse systems, rack integration and server sample systems
• Responsible for rack inventory control
• To review and perform failure analysis with report
• To work with cross-functional teams for system testing and assist in product development
• Generate test report and record the complete test process, configuration, findings and results

Qualifications:

• BSCS/BSCE or MSCS/MSCE is preferred
• Experience in using Linux and Switches
• Knowledge on server Hardware and architecture
• Knowledge of Shell Scripts, Python and Network knowledge are Plus
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and be able to generate test report
• Strong attention to detail, including accuracy and thoroughness
• Solid communications skills both verbal and written
• Electronics, digital and components knowledge background
• Able to work independently and be a good team player
