Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for a Software Engineer. This position will be based at our headquarters located in San Jose, CA. The production engineer will work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth. The candidate will also develop new features and infrastructure development in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements. In addition, the production engineer will ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for API validation

• Perform BIOS, BMC, Switch testing

• Perform software user interface, functionality, and stress testing

• Test multi node systems in VM environment

• Conduct unit testing for product development

• Prepare evaluation reports on software test findings

• Enforce software quality control

• Enforce established technology standards within our software design

• Utilize analytical skills to validate and verify software issues

• Maintain the standards set by the company

Qualifications:

• BS or MS in CS/CE/EE is required

• 1+ years of relevant work experience preferred (open to new grad)

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs

• Strong programming skills in Python, Shell Script

• Experience in Linux OS using source code control systems

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
