Software Product Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with Software Product Manager (SW-PM), Solution architect, and other cross-functional teams to drive competitive and high-quality server systems management software & firmware solutions for Supermicro DCBBS products
2. Proactively engage in learning and researching new technologies and products to define competitive and value-added Out-of-band (OOB) product requirements
3. Manage the technical details and documentation of OOB product requirements in terms of each Supermicro DCBBS product
4. Coordinate Supermicro DCBBS product's OOB feature delivery schedule to stakeholders including customers and internal teams
5. Support engineering teams to resolve and close technical issues in a timely manner
6. Perform integrated testing and verification on DCBBS product's OOB features when it is required
7. Develop high-quality product collateral including user guides, white papers, social media, video, presentations, etc.
8. Develop training material for customers and internal training as required.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Science (CS), or Computer Engineering (CE) related or equivalent practical experience
2. Experience in Power, Thermal or Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) related design
3. Experience in managing technical requirements and design specifications
4. Effective written and verbal presentation and communication skills in English
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to technical details
6. Experience in technical support service to customers
7. Flexible and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment as a member of a cross-functional team and as an individual contributor
