Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for experienced Senior Application Engineer who has in-depth knowledge in computer/server architecture. You will be responsible in providing technical supports to our enterprise customers, promote internal networking products to provide optimize customer's networking solution. The ideal candidate must have strong technical background in networking server product as well as exceptional communication skill -- ability to interface with all level of management staffs in professional manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Identifying hardware, software, driver or operation system issues and then collaborate with internal engineering teams.

2. Capability in installing, configuring server, including BIOS, BMC, driver and OS test with hands-on laboratory.

3. Providing timely and precise solution to world-wide customers with interpersonal skills and verbal communication

4. Maintaining technical documentation and providing step by step operation guide to support customers.

5. Assisting customer technical support cases through phone line, email and CRM. Ability in prioritizing and managing issue list and open cases at one time.

6. Able to provide support for hotline calls

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors or Master degree in Electrical engineering, Computer Science, Management Information System or Computer Information Technology relative

2. 1- or 2-year working experience in Laptop, gaming, embedded, server, storage or PC industry will be plus

3. Proficiency in any of Windows/Linux/SLES/VMware/Citrix OS

4. Able to speak in English with interpersonal skills and verbal communication to work with US headquarter and other function teams
