Sr. Component Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Ensure component specifications are fully aligned with design and production requirements
2. Drive early supplier engagement and risk mitigation through technical audits and 4M1E reviews
3. Support dual-sourcing and AVL strategies to reduce supply chain risks and improve flexibility
4. Analyze component cost structures to support negotiation and cost-down efforts
5. Help resolve technical issues quickly, minimizing delays and improving time-to-market

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering fields.

Experience:

5+ years in component engineering, sourcing, or supplier quality roles (electronics industry preferred).

Supplier Management:

Experience in supplier audits, AVL setup, and 4M1E risk evaluation.
