Job Summary:

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is seeking talented Senior Firmware Engineer will be responsible for developing world class firmware to fully maximize the strong hardware architecture of in-house servers. We are looking for talented individuals who enjoy creating firmware for networking products, prototyping concepts, and investigating in new technologies. Additionally, you will also be responsible for provide mentorship to junior members in the team to ensure they are able to pickup tasks in the shortest time given. In this position, the candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust networking products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop L2 bridging, L3 routing functions and protocols (VLAN, QinQ, STP, OSPF, BGP)
- Develop the network testing tools for evaluating the network performance of switch
- Responsible for designing, debugging, developing and maintaining the firmware for network switch platform
- Communicating with CSP customer for defining product spec and tool 
- Come out training material for TS, and AE. 

Qualifications:

• BS in EE or CS/CE preferred
6+ of the following requirements should be matched
• Familiar with Embedded Linux/Linux base system development.
• Familiar with L2/L3 network protocols.
• Experience in Network Product or related platform development for 12+ years.
• Experience with SONiC is plus
• Experience with Switch SDK is plus
• Experience with Switch ASIC Broadcom, Marvell is plus.
• Experience with ODM Network Switch Project Delivery 
• Experience with Network Device Stress Test tool Development 
• Experience with Team Leading for 3+ years
