Job Summary:

Supermicro is seeking a senior layout engineer to support the PCB layout and power routing. The ideal candidate will have an electrical engineering degree with PCB layout and signal integrity experience. This position will be based out of headquarter office located in San Jose, CA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Deeply familiar with Cadence CAD tools.

2. Server, Desktop or NB X86 motherboard layout experience.

3. From Placement and Constraint set and routing to GERBER OUT.

4. Complete whole MB layout task independently.

5. Patient & Careful & Enthusiasm on PCB layout job.

6. Pre-Placement before project kick-off.

7. Evaluate possible placement and routing to minimize PCB layer.

8. Setting Electrical Constraint PD/RPD XNET, understand Layout Guide from HW.

9. Review artwork, Clean DRC and Gerber out board file

10. Work with HW to Reply EQ from PCB Vendor after Gerber Out.

11. Work with HW/PE to check the DFA/DFM.

12. Willing to go to the United States or business is preferred

Qualifications:

1. • EEBS with 5+ years of PCB layout hands-on experience.
2. • In-depth knowledge of PCB layout, OrCAD/Allegro tools, circuit design, and PCB structure.
3. • Excellent organizational skills, problem solving capability, and strong ability to adopt and learn new notion and technologies.
4. • Self-motivated and enthusiastic on working in fast-paced environment.
