Job Summary:

Super Micro Computer needs a senior network engineer that can thrive in a dynamic environment, handling multiple projects with ease and calm. The job requires working with various stake holders including system admin, engineers, sales and marketing staff. The Senior Network Engineer must handle the network and security configurations for the company’s customers. The duties include designing, configuring and managing the network in a dynamic customer environment, operating network security systems and maintaining an IT security infrastructure, by installing, configuring, documenting security solutions for the organization or client organizations, and training employees on the proper use of security solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1.    Plan, design, and implement computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and intranets.
2.    Install, configure, and maintain networking hardware and software components to ensure optimal performance.
3.    Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly, identifying root causes and implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
4.    Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats.
5.    Monitor network performance, analyze trends, and implement proactive measures to ensure efficient and reliable network operations.
6.    Work closely with other IT professionals, such as system administrators and cybersecurity experts, to integrate and align network systems with overall IT infrastructure.
7.    Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
8.    Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in networking to enhance skills and contribute to the improvement of the organization's network infrastructure.

Qualifications:

1.    A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
2.    Some type of network certificates or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher
3.    Experience with enterprise-level networking equipment
4.    Effective interpersonal and communication skills
5.    Proven track record of troubleshooting complex network issues and implementing effective solutions.
6.    5+ years of hands-on experience as a network engineer is preferred.
7.    Understanding of network automation concepts
8.    Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologiesu 
9.    Project management skills
10.    Medium English level or higher preferred
