Job Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Leading external suppliers in planning and executing development builds and new product ramps.
2. Drive ramp readiness with engineering, operations and suppliers to ensure quality, capacity, cost, and manufacturing processes meet SMCI’s requirements.
3. Communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with SMCI’s supply chain teams.
4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
5. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
6. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
7. Communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with SMC’s supply chain teams. 

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 7 years of program management experience in high-volume manufacturing, with expertise in design, process optimization, commodity cost analysis, factory cost control, supply chain, and quality management.
3. Willingness and ability to travel up to ~30% to domestic and international locations.
4. Proven ability to build strong relationships, lead cross-functional teams, and influence effectively within a matrix organization.
5. Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments, demonstrating initiative and attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. High level of drive, motivation, and energy to tackle and complete challenging tasks.
