Sr. Software Product Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with Software Product Manager (SW-PM), Solution architect, and other cross-functional teams to drive competitive and high-quality server systems management software & firmware solutions for Supermicro DCBBS products

* Proactively engage in learning and researching new technologies and products to define competitive and value-added Out-of-band (OOB) product requirements

* Manage the technical details and documentation of OOB product requirements in terms of each Supermicro DCBBS product

* Coordinate Supermicro DCBBS product's OOB feature delivery schedule to stakeholders including customers and internal teams

* Support engineering teams to resolve and close technical issues in a timely manner

* Perform integrated testing and verification on DCBBS product's OOB features when it is required

* Develop high-quality product collateral including user guides, white papers, social media, video, presentations, etc.

* Develop training material for customers and internal training as required

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Science (CS), or Computer Engineering (CE) related or equivalent practical experience

* Experience in Power, Thermal or Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) related design

* Experience in managing technical requirements and design specifications

* Effective written and verbal presentation and communication skills in English

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to technical details

* Experience in technical support service to customers

* Flexible and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment as a member of a cross-functional team and as an individual contributor
