Job Summary:

We are excited to recruit for a Staff Hardware Design Engineer who have passion on board level hardware design. In this role, you will have opportunity to collaborate with different engineers, design, debug and document. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design and development of high-performance X86 server and GPU platform hardware.
  2. Create detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, firmware, and validation engineers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  4. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  5. Review and approve design documents, schematics, and layouts.
  6. Ensure designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  7. Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to validate hardware performance and reliability.
  8. Debug and resolve hardware issues, working closely with validation and QA teams.
  9. Optimize designs for manufacturability and cost efficiency.
  10. Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and user manuals.
  11. Present design reviews and project updates to stakeholders and management
  12. Provide technical support to customers and field application engineers.
  13. Address and resolve customer issues related to hardware design and performance.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  2. Minimum of 12 years experience in hardware design, specifically with X86 servers and GPU platforms.
  3. Proven track record of leading complex hardware design projects from concept to production.
  4. Proficiency in circuit design (digital, analog, power) and PCB layout.
  5. Hands-on experience with industry-standard design and verification tools.
  6. Strong debugging skills using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead cross-functional teams.
  8. Additional Qualifications:
    (1)Knowledge of EMC and energy regulations.

    (2)Experience with high-speed signal design and power integrity analysis.
    (3)Familiarity with server architecture and data center environments.
