Sr. System Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Work with production to ensure product quality in both pilot run (NPI) and sustain stages

2. To assist PM on processing customer’s questions/issues and internal process

3. Support sales teams with BOM validations and recommendations

4. provide technical Support (including on-site) – region including China, Japan, EU and US

5. Cross-department communication for develop test and troubleshooting

6. Pro-actively engages in learning and researching new product technologies as well as Supermicro's extensive portfolio of hardware and solutions

Qualifications:

* Engineer needs 3+ years or more working experiences in Server/Storage industry. Sr. Engineer needs 8+ year experience.

* Education and/or Experience: BS/MS EE, Computer Science.

* Basic Linux OS and command line knowledge

* Familiar with server/storage architecture and file systems

* Experience in configuring server systems

* Good communication skills, including both written and verbal in English and Chinese
