Job Summary:

Supermicro Computer is looking for Senior Test Engineer who is familiar with IQC process in fast pace mass production environment and responsible for developing strategic IQC test plan, and operation procedure. This position needs to assist keeping daily production test operation and consolidate the testing report under minimal or no supervision. The candidate would also need to analyze complex data, troubleshoot and diagnose failed boards, and false isolation. He/she may requires to travel (domestic or oversea) based on business need.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

• Assist manager to improve operation efficiency and higher product quality

• Develop strategic IQC test plan, writing test script or batch file for testing

• Develop and manage the testing database for data analysis

• Work closely with cross functional teams to improve the productivity and quality

• Provide testing support on production lines, diagnose and identify the root causes for failed PCBA units

• In-depth knowledge on PCBA Incoming Quality Control, including visual inspection and function tests

• Familiar with the process and ability to perform ECO and rework on fail units

• Strong knowledge in PCBA including MB/Add-On-Card/RSC/Memory/Backplane

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with minimum of 5 years experience in production and testing environment

• Good knowledge Window and Linux OS is mandatory, Familiar with database is a plus

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint

• Strong verbal communications and organizational skills, must be attention to details

• Have strong sense of self discipline and responsibility, ability to work under pressure in a fast-pace environment
