Job Summary:

We are excited to recruit for a Staff Hardware Design Engineer who have passion on board level hardware design. In this role, you will have opportunity to collaborate with different engineers, design, debug and document. You will be working with some of the best and brightest engineers, so we expect you to amaze us with your strong interest and knowledge in this field.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for or help to create specifications, design schemes, project functional blocks, correctly selecting parts and vendors, testing equipment for new projects and modifying/enhancing existing designs
2. Responsible for schematics captures, layout check, BOM creation and debugging and testing of CPU board / switch board / add-on card products
3. Collaborate with validation engineers and labs to discover and solve any quality related issues of designs in early stages
4. Create fluent technical documentation including product specifications, layout instructions, test procedures, etc.
5. Setup testing environment, resolve complicated issues, and work on critical engineering problems
6. Ensure product conforms to engineering specifications, and regulatory and customer performance expectations
7. Transfer products to manufacturing with clear documentation, and help PM. and technical support to solve problems
Qualifications:
1. 5~10+ years in Ethernet switch industry is preferred
2. Develop 100/400/800G Ethernet solution experience is plus.
3. ARM/PPC/X86 design experience
4. experienced in OCP, data center, SONiC, 1588, SyncE is a plus
5. Familiar with schematic, layout tools and compliance requirements, NEBS is a plus
6. Capable to do communications in English
