Job Summary:

SuperMicro Computer is looking for a Sr. Business Development Manager. The role'ss responsibilities cover rack solutions team revenue, sales, customer retention, promoting products to sales, customer management, and aligning teams in order to close customer business. We expect you to amaze us with your business development stategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


• Support rack team by being responsible for solution and products revenue and customer retention

• Prospect potential customers to educate and present Supermicro rack solutions

• Coordinate and align internal teams to understand all opportunities and drive sales to closure

• Possess a big picture mind set in collaboration with the ability to always think beyond a single project or business domain

• Organizing additional technical resources within the organization to address client needs when necessary

• Define and provide creative solutions and overcoming constraints to meet customer requirements of the demanding market

• Perform duties with a consultative based mindset

• To understand and resolve challenges by collaborating with internal business partner and technical members

• Act as escalation point for rack team

• Overseeing deliverables and documentation as require supporting Supermicro rack solutions team

• Provide solutions and products overview training to internal organizations, partners, external resellers, and end customers

• Create solution with service centric mind-set from concept to reality within existing constraints

• Documenting and improve process in the overall service oriented rack architecture model and providing technical leadership and guidance to global service team

• Meet with internal teams to provide market and customer feedback

• Design, build, pre configured and integrated solutions with emphasis on service

• Travel is required

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering is strongly preferred

• 5 years of working experience in business developing, IT solutions, IT services related field

• Successful track record with credible cold calling and follow up with key decision makers

• Strong team player

• Prior experience selling technology into corporate accounts

• Demonstrated ability in the following areas: pre-call planning, opportunity qualification and objection handling, call structure and control, time and territory management

• Strong persuasive and negotiating skills

• Extremely proactive, highly organized, with proven ability to manage multiple tasks

• Professionalism combined with a passion for creativity

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and diverse culture

• Strong background in selling enterprise networking products
