Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for experienced System Validation Engineer who have solid hands-on experiences conducting various functional testing on both servers and motherboards. The candidate must have in-depth knowledge in server architecture and is familiar with Linux and Windows operating systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform PVT's request and review PVT related documentation submitted by Product Manager. 
• Analyze PVT's test results and prepare PVT reports, as well as maintaining its database.
• Issues should be posted on the Project and Production Issue News Boards and tracked until they are resolved.
• Test server products and resolve functional testing failures.
• Build PM Sample Units and develop reports regarding PM Sample Build.
• To identify quality-related design issues at an early stage, participate in DFM meetings and collaborate with other function teams.
• Review Design Review Forms and track short-term and long-term solutions.
• Manage and handle projects assigned by managers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Science/ Information Engineering / Industrial Engineering, or related engineering field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in servers/computer industry is strongly desirable.
• Familiar with Linux and Windows, and the experience of modifying python script files will be preferred.
• Excellent teamwork and communication including the verbal and writing skills, and have the ability to collaborate with cross- functional teams.
• Proactive and Strong problem-solving capability.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
