(Sr.) IT Network Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Plan, design, and implement computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and intranets.
2. Install, configure, and maintain networking hardware and software components to ensure optimal performance.
3. Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly, identifying root causes and implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
4. Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats.
5. Monitor network performance, analyze trends, and implement proactive measures to ensure efficient and reliable network operations.
6. Work closely with other IT professionals, such as system administrators and cybersecurity experts, to integrate and align network systems with overall IT infrastructure.
7. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
8. Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in networking to enhance skills and contribute to the improvement of the organization's IT infrastructure.

Qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
2. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or other network certificates or higher
3. Project management skills
4. Effective interpersonal and communication skills
