Job Summary:

Supermicro Taiwan is seeking Software Design Engineers for their Zhonghe（中和）/TaoYuan Bade （桃園八德）office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• 1. work with teams to develop new applications in new or old switch platforms
  2. work closely with hardware engineers to bring up high-speed Ethernet switch platform
  3. design validation with lab team and resolve issues in validation
  4. reproduce customer issues and fix them
  5. business trip to customer site for resolving customer issues
  6. create/deliver technical documents for switch end-user
  7. help production issue analysis and quality check automation
  8. resolve deployment issues

Qualifications:

• 1. MS/BS degree in EE/CS or related engineering field
  2. 2+ year experience in Ethernet switch development is a MUST
  3. strong background in Python/C++/C development in Linux
  4. familiar with developing/porting/debugging Linux device drivers as well as applications in a DevOps environment for datacenter switch platforms
  5. familiar with switch fabric architecture and SDK/driver is plus
  6. experience in IEEE 1588, SyncE, NFV and open source solutions is plus
  7. familiar with git
  8. experience in InfiniBand switch usage and network deployment is plus
