Job Summary:

In recent years, electronic circuits with higher data rate and lower voltage supply have enabled higher performances. However, this trend also causes significant DDR4/5 and PCIE Gen4/5 noise problems. As a global leader for networking solution innovation, Super Micro Computer's mission is to develop and provide the market with end-to end computing solution and high performance networking products. The candidate will play a key role in the development process of in-house server motherboards, by working collaboratively with cross-functional engineering team as well as outside partners to ensure the robust design of the boards. As a Sr. Signal Integrity Verification Engineer, you are expected to be self-motivated and possess a strong will to do great things, with result-driven mindset to develop the most competitive and endurance board products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Performing DC IR drop and AC impedance simulation.
2. Improve simulation/validation efficiency and performance by automation.
3. Execute SI/PI/RF/EMI verification for the system requirements.
4. Build up SI/PI simulation and measurement correlation database.
5. Build up design and test capability including design guidance and lab setup.
6. Working with HW teams to optimize high-speed signal.

Qualifications:

1. Experience on using SI design tool such ADS, HFSS, Cadence Sigrity and etc.
2. Strong SI/EMI/EMC /Transmission Line theory and application, modeling, analysis, simulation
3. More than 2 years experience of SI field.
4. Master's or doctoral degree in EE related field.
5. Knowledge and experience for PCB layout tool.
6. HW board design from schematic to assembled test board.
7. Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills
