Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute effective strategies to win new customers and opportunities.
• Identify, qualify, develop, and close opportunities, primarily for AI-PC, Workstation, Desktop, and Gaming product lines.
• Approach customers using several tactics, including cold calling, emailing, and attending events.
• Establish relationships with potential customers, partners, system integrators, VARs, and OEM customers.
• Qualify opportunities and create target lists for vertical markets.
• Promote the appropriate products at key product conferences.
• Foster superior customer service relationships with prospects and collaborate with sales teams to close deals.
• Generate weekly reports for management.
• Travel to customer sites to present Supermicro’s products and maintain account integrity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or engineering discipline is highly desirable
• Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in server products or professional sales/marketing environment preferred
• Able to work positively under deadlines and constraints, result-oriented and attentive to detail
• Consistently meeting/exceeding assigned jobs/goals in timely manner
• Strong communication skills across multiple disciplines and cultures; demonstrated communication skills-written, verbal presentation
• Experience tracking and reporting data on lead activity
• Ability to travel 25% of the time
