Job Summary:

  1. Overseeing the daily operations of the factories in TW and Malaysia
  2. Electrical Engineering is preferred
  3. Excellent English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills will be given priority
  4. Factory construction experience is preferred
  5. Ensure smooth and efficient operation of facilities
  6. Supervising and managing the employees
  7. Developing and implementing policies and procedures
  8. Maintenance and repair the facilities
  9. Planning and organizing events and activities
  10. Handling employee inquiries and complaints
  11. Monitoring the budget and expenses
  12. Ensuring the safety and security of the facility
  13. Overseeing and directing all construction projects, including review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
  14. Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance, regular facilities inspections and life-cycle requirements
  • Designing and planning facilities layout.
  • Coordinate intra-office moves, allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiency
  • Supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment
  • Oversee facility refurbishment and renovations
  • Implement best practice processes to increase efficiency
  • Obtain quotes and tenders from vendors and suppliers
  • Calculate and compare costs for goods and services to maximize cost-effectiveness
  • Plan and monitor appropriate facility management staffing levels
  • Ensure efficient utilization of facility maintenance staff
  • Performance manage, develop and train staff
  • Prepare and track facility budget then monitor expenses and payments
  • Calculate and compare costs for goods and services to maximize cost-effectiveness

  • Generate and present regular reports and reviews of facility-related budgets, finances, contracts, expenditures and purchases
  • Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives

Qualifications:

  1. Electrical Engineering preferred
  2. Excellent English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills will be given priority
  3. Bachelors degree in Facilities Management, Facilities Engineering or related qualification such as project management, business management or construction management\working knowledge of principles and practices of project management
  4. Knowledge of principles and practices of business administration, electrical and mechanical systems, procurement and contracts
  5. Experience in construction, facility maintenance, property and utilities management and all facets of facility operation
  6. Supervisory, financial, budgeting experience and emergency preparedness
  7. Solid computer and systems knowledge sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations
