Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The General Manager of Business Development will lead strategic initiatives to grow the ODM / CM business by identifying new opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires deep industry knowledge, strong leadership, and a proven track record in B2B sales and strategic partnerships within manufacturing or related sectors.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Strategic Growth & Planning
    • Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company goals.
    • Identify emerging market trends and new business opportunities in ODM and contract manufacturing.
  2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, OEMs, and industry partners.
    • Lead negotiations and close high-value contracts.
  3. Cross-functional Leadership
    • Collaborate with internal operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure client needs are met.
    • Provide input on pricing strategies, service offerings, and forecast.
  4. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
    • Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics to make strategic decisions.
    • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  5. Team Development
    • Build and manage a high-performing business development team.
    • Mentor and coach team members to achieve revenues targets and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or general management in contract manufacturing or industrial services.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and customer requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to drive growth and manage complex client relationships.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with OEM customers in the electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with ODM business model, and regulatory compliance
  • Strong customer relationship with OEM such as HPE, Dell, Oracle, Meta, Google, AWS, Microsoft, and others
