Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding Recruitment Strategy: Design and execute scalable talent acquisition strategies tailored to the unique dynamics of various APAC markets
2. Compensation & Benefits (C&B)
Framework Optimization:
Design and adjust competitive, legally compliant compensation structures and incentive schemes across APAC countries.
Annual Review & Budgeting: Oversee the APAC annual salary review, bonus allocation, and benefit program planning while managing regional HR budgets.
Compliance & Benchmarking: Ensure all C&B policies comply with local labor laws and conduct regular market benchmarking studies.
3. HR Operations Collaboration
Partner closely with the HR Operations team to ensure seamless delivery of day-to-day HR services, employee relations, and payroll administration.
Jointly optimize workflows and SOPs to drive the successful achievement of organizational goals and KPIs.
4. Strategic HR Projects & Management
Project Lead: Act as the APAC project owner for the end-to-end implementation of a core HRIS platform (e.g., SuccessFactors).
5. People Analytics: Establish HR dashboards and utilize data-driven insights to support executive decision-making.
6. Cross-Border Collaboration: Align global HR strategies with local execution, fostering collaboration among matrixed regional teams.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in an APAC HR leadership role managing cross-border teams.
- System Implementation: Proven track record of leading or playing a key role in a successful large-scale HRIS implementation (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors).
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of C&B design, modern talent acquisition methodologies, and labor laws in major APAC markets (e.g., Malaysia, Japan, Korea, Singapore, China).
- Languages: Professional fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is preferred for communicating with global headquarters and regional teams.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional project management skills, and strong cross-cultural communication.
- Collaborative Mindset: Strong capability to work in close partnership with the HR Operations team, effectively translating high-level HR strategies into flawless operational execution.
