Hardware Design Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

• Create schematics, conduct layout checks, create BOM, perform debugging, and oversee testing of server board/add-on card products.
• Undertake the modification and enhancement of existing designs to elevate the quality standards of server motherboards.
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to identify and address potential engineering issues at an early stage, ensuring products achieve their maximum quality and performance potential.
• Prepare technical documentation including product specifications, layout instructions, and detailed test procedures.
• Ensure strict adherence of products to engineering specifications, regulatory standards, and customer expectations.
• Facilitate the seamless transfer of products to manufacturing through clear documentation and provide technical support to resolve any challenges during the production phase.
• Deliver clear documentation and robust technical support to contract manufacturers and the production department during both product sampling and production stages.
• Undertake short-term business trips as necessary to provide support for headquarters projects.

Qualifications:

• • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working with x86 server boards is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of circuit design (digital, analog, power) and PCB layout.
  • Hand-on experience on lab oscilloscopes and debugging skills.
  • Highly valued: Previous experience in motherboard design for enterprise networking servers
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills, both written and oral, along with effective interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional/cross-site teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and problem-solving capabilities
