Job Summary:

The Revenue Analyst will report to the Revenue Manager. This position will provide financial reporting and revenue recognition support and be responsible for invoice verification and review, as well as researching and resolving billing questions and issues for the Company. The Revenue Analyst is also responsible for supporting the completion of the financial / revenue month-end closing process and SOX 404 compliance for internal and external financial audits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


• Prepare month-end/quarter-end journal entries for revenue and related accounting areas

• Assist Revenue Manager in the review of revenue contracts and propose proper revenue recognition

• Participate in the preparation of schedules and analysis of deferred and unbilled revenues

• Review invoices and customer POs for proper revenue recognition

• Assist the team in preparing the quarterly 10-Q and annual 10-K reports filed with the SEC. Responsibilities include the preparation of various footnotes schedules, tie-out of financial statements and footnotes

• Provide requisite schedules/reports for quarterly reviews/annual audits with external auditors

• Assist in quarterly reviews/annual audit with external and internal auditors.

• Assist with various ad-hoc reporting, revenue or financial related projects.

• Perform SOX testing for our international subsidiaries.

• Work with cross-functional teams (A/R, A/P, Cost Accounting, sales, legal and etc.) to resolve issues if necessary.

Qualifications:


• B.S. or B.A in Accounting or Finance preferred (CPA and Big 4 experience preferred)

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting or financial planning and analysis experience from Fortune 500 or high growth firm in the high-tech manufacturing industry preferred

• Must be detail oriented

• Must be self-motivated, flexible, deadline-oriented and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision

• Must be able to identify and resolve revenue related issues timely

• Excellent organization skills with multi-tasking abilities

• Demonstrated ability to interface and work with a wide variety of individuals at all levels

• Strong GAAP accounting, analytical and problem solving skills

• Knowledge and experience in revenue recognition under ASC 605

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Extensive knowledge of MS office skills, specifically MS Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Oracle, SAP, ACCPAC a plus

• Willing to travel internationally
