Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior SAP Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will play a key role in the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP FICO solutions, with a focus on supporting Supermicro's transition to S/4HANA. You will be responsible for ensuring that our SAP financial systems effectively support our business processes and comply with industry regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Design, customize, configure, and test solutions within the SAP FICO module, ensuring seamless integration with other modules such as SD, PP/MM, and QM.
•    Lead and participate in the implementation of SAP FICO, including requirements gathering, process mapping, configuration, testing, and user training.
•    Provide expert functional support and guidance to business users, troubleshooting issues, and resolving incidents.
•    Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements and optimizations, leveraging SAP best practices.
•    Develop and maintain functional specifications, system documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for FICO processes.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Accounting, and other SAP module experts, to ensure successful project delivery and ongoing system support.
•    Play a key role in Supermicro's S/4HANA transition, including system conversion, data migration, and new functionality implementation.
•    Configure and maintain key controls within the SAP system to ensure compliance with internal and external audit standards, including SOX.
•    Act as a liaison between the finance team and auditors during audit processes.

Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
•    Minimum 5-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration and user support.
•    Proven experience with S/4HANA Finance is required.
•    Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes, preferably within the computer manufacturing or high-tech industry.
•    Minimum 2-3 full-cycle implementation of SAP FICO modules.
•    Experience with manufacturing-specific processes in SAP FICO, such as product costing, material ledger, and production orders.
•    Familiarity with industry-specific compliance requirements, including SOX and revenue recognition for hardware and software.
•    Prior experience in the Computer Manufacturing Industry is preferred.
•    Experience with SAP Fiori apps and S/4 HANA Reporting and Analytics for FICO is highly desirable.
•    Knowledge of robotic process automation (RPA) or other automation tools is a plus.
•    Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud or other analytical tools to leverage financial data for insights is preferred.
•    Knowledge and exposure to other SAP modules (CRM, SD, FI/CO, SAP BI/BO, MM, PP, and QM) and troubleshooting SAP Authorization is desirable.
•    Knowledge in technical proficiency in the following SAP technology: ABAP/SQL Programming, SAP BI/BW, and various SAP BusinessObjects (BO) tools such as Web Intelligence (WebI) and Lumira Discovery is desirable.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation creation and delivery.
•    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
•    Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
•    Must be willing to travel when required.
