Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Design, customize, configure, and test solutions within the SAP FICO module, ensuring seamless integration with other modules such as PP, MM, SD and Workflow.
- Lead and participate in the implementation of SAP FICO, including requirements gathering, process mapping, configuration, testing, and user training.
- Provide expert functional support and guidance to business users, troubleshooting issues, and resolving incidents.
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements and optimizations, leveraging SAP best practices.
- Develop and maintain functional specifications, system documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for FICO processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, FP&A and other SAP module experts, to ensure successful project delivery and ongoing system support.
- Play a key role in Supermicro's S/4HANA transition, including system conversion, data migration, and new functionality implementation.
- Configure and maintain key controls within the SAP system to ensure compliance with internal and external audit standards, including SOX.
- Act as a liaison between the finance team and auditors during audit processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in MIS or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP FICO implementation, support, and configuration.
- Expertise in core SAP FICO modules.
- Experience in SAP S/4 HANA FICO implementation and migration projects. At least 2+ full implementation cycle.
- Hands-on experience with key processes like accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL), asset accounting, banking and controlling (cost centers, internal orders, profit centers, product cost, profitability analysis).
- Proficient in configuring SAP FICO modules and understanding integration with other modules (MM, SD, PP).
- Knowledge of reporting tools like SAP Fiori, SAP BW, or other BI tools.
- Expertise in performing system testing and user training for SAP FICO.
- Experience with SAP integration with third-party applications (Vertex, Blackline, Workday).
- Strong background in SAP FICO troubleshooting, user support, and continuous improvement processes.
- Experience in preparing functional specifications and coordinating with technical teams for custom developments.
- Knowledge of financial accounting principles and SAP best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Willing to travel when required.
Certifications
- SAP FICO certification.
- Certification in SAP S/4HANA (optional but valuable).
