Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Search for and develop new accounts
2. Initiate outbound cold calls or emails to potential customers, direct and indirect, e.g. System Integrators, VARs, OEMs
3. Successfully manage and overcome objections
4. Qualify opportunities, create target lists for vertical markets
5. Consistently achieve lead and appointment quotas and produce reports as necessary
6. Monitor inventory, negotiate price, enter and monitor orders, facilitate credit issues and negotiate returns
7. Develop superior customer relationships
8. Consistently achieve sales quota
Qualifications:
1. BA or BS degree or equivalent work experience preferably in high tech industry
2. Minimum 8 years of sales and business development experience is desirable
3. Fluent in Japanese and Proficient in English is a huge plus
4. Experience selling technology into corporate accounts
5. Strong communication skills across multiple disciplines, cultures and geographies
6. Track record of building relationships with senior executives and decision makers
7. Demonstrated ability in the following areas: pre-call planning, opportunity qualification and objection handling, call structure and control, time and territory management
8. Experience entering, tracking and reporting data on lead activity
9. Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
10. Must have Microsoft Excel knowledge
11. Multi-task and time management skills are a must
12. Self-admin skills are a must
