Job Summary:

Supermicro is seeking a Computer System/Hardware Engineer for System/Hardware testing and benchmarking, including add-on cards and server motherboards. Computer System Analyst will also be responsible for review system capabilities, workflow, scheduling, limitations and resolve technical problems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with cross functional team members to understand business and technical requirements and derive the system requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perofrman system/Hardware functional tests

• Responsible for VRM verifications

• Measure quality of high speed signals

• Manage the implement schematics capture, layout check, debug and test of hardware PCB

• Responisble for the project coordination and communications within the team and cross functional

• System and board level defects/failures analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Masters in Electrical Engineering

• 3-5 years Web/Application programming job experience

• Understanding of Intel server system is a plus

• Essential programming skills and Application Platform: C#, Java, JavaScript, SQL, VB, VB.NET, ASP

• Be Familiar with Multi-Phase VEM, high speed signal handling (USB/SATA/SAS/QPI) and DDR4/DDR3 memory

• Knowledge of PCB layout, signal integrity and simulations

• B2B EDI/Automation experience is a big plus
