Job Summary:

Super Micro is looking for a Software Engineer who will work on Server management applications that will be deployed by the data centers to manage server clusters. The candidate is expected to be self-driven, work independently as well with remote teams, and support customers on existing data center software applications. The ideal candidate should demonstrate understanding of data center deployments, and should be able to translate customer requirements into engineering deliverables. Broad knowledge of and exposure of system management software are essential for success in this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with Software Product Manager (SW-PM), Technical Program Manager (TPM) and other cross-functional teams to drive competitive and high-quality server systems management software & firmware solutions (BMC)
2. Manage the technical details and documentation of BMC features and requirements
3. Coordinate BMC feature delivery schedule to stakeholders including customers and internal teams
4. Support engineering teams to resolve and close technical issues in a timely manner
5. Perform integrated testing and verify software & BMC firmware solutions
6. Develop high quality product collateral including user guides, white papers, social media, video, presentations, etc.
7. Develop training material for customer and internal trainings as required

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in EE, CS, CE-related or equivalent practical experience
2. Experience in developing technical specification or documentation
3. Effective written and verbal presentation and communication skills in English
4. Flexible and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment as a member of a cross-functional team and as an individual contributor
5. Experience in technical support service to customer
