Job Summary:

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking a Business Operation Manager to support our fast growing organization located in San Jose, CA.  The ideal candidate needs to be a technical professional with strong experience in business operation, process/flow improvements, forecast planning, inventory management, customer interface and/or related field.  The Business Operation Manager’s primary responsibility is to improve the overall business operation efficiency and process/resource optimization.  The position also requires interfacing with assigned customers to help improve the customer satisfaction through operational improvements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Tune-up, design or re-engineer business operation process to improve work efficiency, cut waist and optimize resource utilization for the company

• Use statistical methods and come out with business data analysis for intelligence and proposals in  helping management’s decision making process

• Drive KPI index for clear measurements of success and efficient improvements on weaknesses

• Role involves bridging between IT and general users for business operation related requests in confirming requirements, writing specs and performing user validation tests

• Interfacing with assigned customers for opportunities of improvements through daily operation, demand planning, fulfillment process and key performance matrix

Qualifications:

• Major degree in SCM, Operation, Business or IE related business discipline preferred

• At least 10 years of experience in operation process including forecast, material planning, purchasing, production scheduling and/or order fulfillment.  Hands-on and know-how on major ERP system is preferred

• Experience and knowledge of PC or server hardware is a must

• Advanced level in Excel and Power Point

• Must be detail oriented and self-motivated

• Effective project management and presentation skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.  Have the ability to work well with all levels within the organization

• Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills, able to work independently and as a team
